Numb Ankles & Feet on Treadmill - advice? by Ken
Help! I've been in the gym on the treadmill for a while now, 6-7 days a week. Lately, I've had to cut my workouts short because my ankles and feet go numb. When I get off the treadmill, they come back to normal in 5-10 minutes. My typical workout is between 3-3.5 mph, varying incline from 1%-5%...

Question re PaceMaster Treadmill by Jim Cate
Hi, I recently purchased a PaceMaster treadmill, Gold Elite model, for working out at moderate levels (usually below five mph, for around 30-40 minutes per day, six days a week). In general, I am well pleased with it, and I'm sure it will provide plenty of exercise. This unit is a replacement for...

Starting off and Creatine by gibsonguitars
Hi, I am 25, 6' and 194lb/88kg. About a month ago I started a workout programme with a view to losing about 10-15 lb of fat and gaining muscle mass, just to look fit and a bit muscular, not like the Hulk or anything. I've also restricted my diet to around 1500 kcals per day. Because of...

Treadmill vs track running by Andy Turner
Someone once told me that it's harder to run a given distance on a treadmill than it is on an open track. This is because you can't take as long strides as you probably otherwise would on a track. Is this really true, anyone have any experience? I'd have thought that a treadmill was easier because...

Dear Friends: Greetings: I am a retired attorney. A few years ago a man came to me with a letter. He asked me to verify the fact that this was legal to do. I told him I would review it and get back to him. When I first read the letter my client brought me, I thought it was some "off-the-wall" idea...
