Dundonald Dundreich dunthelot by Martin Richardson
Dundonald, dunemall, done the lot, new and old. Case of trousers where's your Donalds? Goodbye Tweedsmuir, goodbye St John's Town of Daltry, goodbye Wanlockhead. Tara St Mary's Loch, toodlepip Loch Doon, au revoir Gladhouse reservoir. No more confusion about up or down on the Electric Brae.

Thorlo socks by PeterC
Been looking at Thorlo socks as an alternative to Smartwool etc., as my feet do tend to overheat. Anyone have experience of these, please - what they're like re. blisters, wet feet, durability etc? -- Peter. You don't understand Newton's Third Law of Motion? It's not rocket science, you know.

Puffa Down Parka by King William
I am looking for a Puffa microfibre Down Parka in Grenadine(Red) Medium size. No. 10134. It is the longish one. These are 2003/04 stock and most places have reduced them to under 50 to part with them, but no one has a red medium. Does anyone know of a Puffa stockist likely to have one left, or has...

Parked at the Grey Mares Tail car park at 8:30 am with the thermometer reading -7C and with a brisk breeze it felt a lot colder.
