How to Build More Muscle in Less Time with Supersets Wouldn't it be great if there was a safe and natural way to build more muscle in a shorter period of time? In this day and age of exercise gimmicks and quick fix solutions, most smart bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts would be skeptical if...

exercise bike calorie counter by Futura
I have just bought the York 2700 exercise bike. Its great but the calorie counter sucks. It only counts at each revolution, no matter the difficulty setting... so how am I to know if the 300 calories I just burned at setting 5 (out of 8) isnt 500...or 200 ....whats the point if not accurate. Jason

New treadmill user by Taurus
I have just started a treadmill regime and I thought that if I went faster that I would burn calories faster but the machine always records approximately 310 calories for 2.5 miles no matter how fast or slow I walk. Is this how it works, I am confused? Any help would be much appreciated. Jim.

Schwinn recumbant bike @ Costco question by J.B.
I saw one there today - and I didn't have a pen so I had to try and remember the number, it was (I believe) SRB 1500. It had magnetic resistance and costs $350. I get home to check it out on the internet and there's nothing like it! Is this a one-of-a-kind made for Costco? If so, is there...

Treadlcimber review: BEWARE by MG
I've seen some folks ask about this. i hope my review may prevent the kind of trouble i'm having with this machine. my advice: DON"T buy the treadclimber. here's as short as i can make this: 1. it costs 2400 bucks and is a major pain to assemble. don't believe them when they say it's "Easy". it...

Help! Need to lose 9+ pounds in 9 days with Pilates, the gym and Atkins... by indie747
Hi everyone- I'm also about 5 days into doing the Mari Windsor Pilates tape (my friend swears by it - she lost two waist inches in two weeks doing it only every other day), but I haven't had much with it here yet. (I'm 190, 6ft and in my mid-30s). I'm also about a week into the induction phase of...

Vertical vs. recumbant exercise bike by Shawn
I have enjoyed my Proform vertical exercise bike, but its 4 programs aren't adjustable by level. So I want to get a little better bike. If I really exercise hard on the machine at the gym, I really feel it in my lower back muscles the next day. Is this a problem, or do I just need to get in better...

Bodyflex's advertising is a crock by Alan Davis
Don't be taken by their claim to lose 4 to 14 inches in 7 days. If you lose a pound in 7 days, take 20 measurements on your body, and then add them up, you might end up with 4 to 14 inches. They are using a similar method to compute these numbers. It's just a crock. I hate to see people get...

Great site for new "Cardio Zone" fitness equipment at "used" prices by Mike
I know of a site that offers some fantastic fitness equipment--the "Cardio Zone" line. This particular site is fairly new, judging by the hit counter figure, so they are trying to be REAL competitive. If you contact them, I bet you can negotiate even lower prices, or deals on shipping. Below is...
