Woman arrested on suspicion of embezzling more than $266,000 from Fullerton youth swim team
FULLERTON – Detectives arrested a Yorba Linda woman on suspicion
of embezzling more than $250,000 from a youth aquatics group,
police said Wednesday.
A anonymous tipster told Fullerton police Tracy Noseworthy, 42,
had stolen “funds in excess of $150,000,” Sgt. Jon Radus said.
Detectives determined Noseworthy, the treasurer for the
Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team (FAST) from 2012 to 2015,
actually absconded with more than $266,000 while she was in her
role with the group.
She was arrested Tuesday in Yorba Linda on suspicion of forgery,
unauthorized access to computers, burglary, grand theft,
embezzlement and forgery of records, Radus said.
