Default Lance Armstong and the Ironman

I am just curious as to whether Lance Armstrong can be a serious
threat at the age of 40 when he competes at the Ironman in Hawaii this
October? Or will his age be against him from being up there with the
best in the world? Lance has done pretty well in the 4 half Ironman
races he has entered this year with a second, third, seventh and
finishing first in his last race. This much is certain and that is
that he will dominate on the bike. The key as to how Lance does will
come in the marathon phase. Dave

Umm well considering that lance has now been done for drugs he has been banned from all official Ironman events. As such, he will not be in Kona. I would have loved to have seen him there (although he wouldnt have won) but now that he has pretty much been convicted his 'amazing' story is pretty much a lie.
