But I'm a Republican, so I'm supposed to have the best education and
be from the middle to upper class right?

So what part of my perception is distorted? Care to ellaborate?

Also, you didn't put a space between "show" and "education," I guess
you must be a dumb idiot like me.

Proper typing and grammar showeducation, stature, and class, all of

You're an idiot if you think typing perfect, grammatical messages on
Usenet and being alive 60 years ago are two prerequisites to
discussing history intelligently. In fact, I've more intellect to
this discussion than you have. I've discussed the facts pertaining to
what happened, and you've simply nitpicked over spelling and people's
ages. Shows how intelligent you are.. (oh crap, I just typed an
incomplete sentence, now nobody is going to respect my opinion!)

When you decide to add something intelligent to the discussion, let me
know, otherwise shut up. (crap, should I have put that comma after the
word "know?" Dammit! There goes my argument!)

Jackass..

Haha what the hell. So I guess we can't bring any piece of history up

You can't even spell "ridiculous" and you expect me to carry on a
serious debate with you?

why do I need to be alive in order to debate the events of World War
2?

No, but you should listen to someone who was instead of history books
you read in PS5.

Give me a break!

I'd like to, many.

Well, when someone posts with your name, I have no way of telling if
it's you or not. I was starting to get the feeling that every
response to my messages were coming from the same person. Whatever,
don't know, don't care, if someone is too chicken **** to stand on
their own two feet and say what they mean, and have to disguise
themselves as you or someone else, then I think I've already proved my
point about how spineless they are and how they really don't care
about our country.

Hey stupidass, that's an imposter you're talking too. Christ are you

that's just what republicans do when faced with the truth, they lie,
cheat, and steal.
You have proven to be just another freekazoid noron, unworthy of my
attention. Any more imaginary debates you have will be with yourself,
I have nothing to say to someone so ignorant and foolish.

Bill, I'm sick and tired of your fabricated lies, in every discussion
we've had, you've made some f***ed up statements about events, and
then offered no proof when challenged. If that's the standard we're
going to use in any intelligent discussion, then I can make up
anything and put the burden of proof on you to prove me wrong.

So why don't you quit popping viagra, get off your ass, and step
outside and away from Usent every now and then. I think you'll find
your life to be much happier and meaningful.

Goddammit, how can someone living in this age of the Internet be so ignorant?

Go read up on your history before you come here and show off your ignorance.
The war was over before they decided to drop the bombs. Truman just wanted
to test those bombs and to show off to the world. Oppenheimer tried to
stop him, but he couldn't.

Man, I really pity your ignorance. Get down that high horse
before you fall down and break your blockhead.

No they weren't, could you be more ignorant? They were ready to
defend Japan as we were about to face our toughest fighting and our
most casualties by fighting on their soil. We decided enough was
enough, and instead of mounting a huge raid on the Japanese coast and
pushing inland lke we did in Normandy, suffering huge numbers of
casualties, we decided to drop the bomb. When they saw the power and
destruction, they surrendered, overwhelmed by our might.

I don't intend to debate the merits of the atomic bomb and its use in
WW2, obviously there are strong reasons for using it/not using it.

I like your attempt at revisionist history.

But several million people in Germany were. Regardless, I'll withdraw
my argument, I don't even remember the original point of it all. I
think I wsa trying to make a point that WW2 was started in Europe, but
nonetheless, I'll admit it's unfair to blame WW2 on all of Europe.
Certainly Germany and its citizens take the blame for falling into
line with Hitler's hatred, but then again, probably some of the
post-World War 1 agreements and tough conditions on Germany helped to
harbor a hatred and paranoia within Germany towards everyone and
everything not German. I'm not saying all Germans are bad people,
although they should have never followed a leader like Hitler. Then
again, how much did they know, how much did the economic crisis in
Germany cause it, etc.

I dunno, what happened to it? It was an exaggeration, I don't
honestly think the US government should deport people with socialist
views. However, I think they should consider what they want, and I
would hope they would admit that their beliefs and philosophies
contradict everything on which America was founded. ANd I would hope
they would want to move to another country that is more representative
of their viewpoints instead of changing 225 years of history in the
US.

Cool, then maybe you'll leave the country. I wouldn't mind deporting

So what happened to freedom of speech?

Life liberty an the pursuit of happiness IIRC, surely thats a socialist
viewpoint as well. Surely the whole point of the "American way" is that
anyone whatever their beliefs, religion, politics can be happy there. Or is
that as long as redneck bigots say it OK.

Would you leave your home because you don't like the colour of the
wallpaper?
It is difficult to change a corrupt society from the outside, it is best
done from within.

instead of changing 225 years of history in the US.

You can't change history. What you can change is the written word if it is
wrong.
